Julie’s Preppy Pages- July Reads

Hey y’all! Today I’m super super excited to share this post with y’all! Last month, I started my monthly reading round up and y’all loved it! I had so much fun talking with y’all and suggesting new books! This month I read some great books! Let me know what you read! I read a lot this month, but I was on vacation which meant extra reading time! Lots of these I rented from the library, or listened to the audio book! I love renting from the library and using their audio book system because it’s such an easy and free way to read lots of books during the summer!

1) Girl Stop Apologizing – Rachel Hollis

If you read last months post, this was a book I started in late June and finished in the beginning of July. I read Girl Wash Your Face first and loved it… but I loved this one even more! It’s a quick inspirational read!

2) The Rescue- Nicholas Sparks

I love Nicholas Sparks books. I love a good romance, and this one didn’t disappoint. I couldn’t be wrong, but I don’t believe this once was made into a movie, so I didn’t know what the plot was! This one kept me on the edge of my seat and the ending was great!

4) Love Does: Discover a Secretly Incredible Life in an Ordinary World – Bob Goff

I think most people read Love Does before Everybody, Always, but I loved them both! Love Does was a little more broad while Everybody, Always dug I to his life a little more.

Keeping along with the Nicholas Sparks theme this month, I also loved this one! While I had seen the movie, I really enjoyed this one! It’s the perfect romance novel!

9) Dear John – Nicholas Sparks

This Nicholas Sparks novel was great as well, but surprisingly I hadn’t seen this movie yet! So I was expecting the ending. I won’t spoil it for ya, but it didn’t give me the typical Nicholas Sparks ending which made me sad. But I guess every book can’t have a happy ending lol!

10) Uninvited: Living Loved When You Feel Less Than, Left Out, and Lonely – Lysa TerKeurst

This was such an inspiring book! Lysa shares a lot about her life that I feel we could al relate to! It was an easy read that I think any one could take something from!
